Learn as many chords as possible- G, C, D, Em, Am, E and A to start with. Then tackle F and B.
Focus on your chord hand and take time to learn the chord shapes.
Practice changing between the chords, until you can do the chord changes quicker. See my video on chord changes-
Practice basic strumming by doing downstrokes to start with. Aim for a steady rhythm.
It takes time at first but keep going, you will get there. Short, focused and regular practice sessions are good to do, such as 10 minutes 3 times a day.
