I wanted to share a quick update about how my Patreon guitar lessons work, and why I’ve recently made a small but important change.
Going forward, my Patreon lessons will follow a Pay What You Feel model. Some lessons will continue to be completely free, and the rest will be available starting from £1 per month, with the option to contribute more if you’re able and feel it’s right for you.
Why Pay What You Feel?
I want my lessons to be as accessible and welcoming as possible. This approach allows people to learn at a level that works for them, while still supporting the time and care that goes into creating each lesson.
It also gives me more flexibility as a creator. Instead of feeling pressured to work to a rigid structure, I can focus on making lessons thoughtfully, at a sustainable pace and in a way that stays enjoyable and creative.

What This Means for You
- You’ll still find free guitar lessons on my Patreon
- Paid lessons are now Pay What You Feel, starting from £1/month
- There’s no pressure, you can support at a level that feels comfortable
- The focus remains on clear, practical and encouraging guitar teaching
If you’ve already been supporting me, thank you, it really means a lot. And if you’re new, you’re very welcome to explore the free lessons and see if Patreon is a good fit for you.
Thanks for being part of this little guitar-learning communit and for supporting independent teaching in whatever way you can.
